Abnormally Ugly Buildings in Guangzhou #3

I frequently pass by this one but always forget to snap a photo until I see it. Fortunately, today there was a woman walking her dog on the elevated expressway. I tried to get a picture of her and failed (Curse you HTC phones and your slow cameras!!!) but as a result, my camera was ready for this beauty:

The Old Astro Hotel in Xia Tang Xi Lu, damn that brought back fond memories of my early days here in GZ, stayed there for over six months .

  3. What? What~~~?! This place is also spotlit? I ever lived near this place.

Oh, the good ol’ Children’s Castle. I think it’s a school, but could also double as a prision for clowns.

Other ugly buildings in GZ: the one building next to the Garden Hotel that looks like it could either be in the process of being built or being torn down. I think construction on that one has been delayed over a year…what an eyesore!

    @ Lindsay
The building you refer to as an eyesore happens to be a pillar of strength inspiration and commitment , 8 years on and the 5 or 10 workmen on the site keep putting up new windows new panels to the facade and getting the floors ready everyday.
